RITE OF RECONCILIATION WITH GENERAL ABSOLUTION

Because of special restrictions of the pandemic, Bishop Paul Hinder has granted special permission to give general absolution to all those who are present in the church. In order to receive this absolution, you must observe the following:

1. You must be truly sorry for all your sins. This includes the intention to stop and change any sinful behaviour.

2. You must intend to make up, according to your ability, for any scandal or harm caused to others by your sins.

3. When individual confession becomes available, you must tell the priest all the mortal sins for which you are receiving forgiveness.
