The Italian Community was established in March 15, 2007. Currently, it consists of approximately 50-60 members.

The mission of the Italian Community is simple and straightforward: We are called through Baptism to celebrate the presence of Christ in Word and Sacrament. We are called and sent by Christ to live gratefully the life God has given us and to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ.

As public proclamation of the Gospel is forbidden in Qatar, the community work and live to have several ways to reach the heart of the people through example, forgiveness and joy revealed in every action. The participation to the Holy Mass weekly makes the community closer with one another and closer to God, ready to hold Christ as the center of their daily lives, without any heroism but with the certainty that Jesus makes all things new, always and everywhere.

The mission of the Italian Community is dedicated particularly to the care of the children so that every child will grow up in a safe, loving and nurturing environment. They have an active participation in the Mass where they can experience the joy that comes from praying, singing and serving God and the brothers, having alongside their families.
